Cowardly Lion's life after Oz

May 2010 concept piece for "life after Oz" By Brian Hollins. the magazine reads:

Q & A
An Interview with
THE BRAVE LIONESS (formally The Cowardly Lion)
By April O’Neal

Forget what you think you know about the Cowardly Lion and his journey
through the land of OZ to find the courage he never had.
Here today in the flesh is the one and only Brave Lioness,
formally the Cowardly Lion, to speak about the REAL reason he….she
needed the courage, the relationship gone bad
with Toto, the sex tape and the war for the red slippers. Folks this interview is
crazier than hanging with a bunch of sewer turtles any day.

Q: Ms. Lioness, if I may call you that, let’s start off with the big question
that everyone wants to know. ‘Was it not enough to no longer be scared of lions,
tigers and bears or was the sex change the real reason you wanted the courage
in the first place?

A: Darling (in an absurd, fake French accent) in OZ
it’s ok for monkeys to fly around and witches to hunt you down but no room for a
lady like myself. I had to lie to the wizard and tell him I needed the courage to be
the bravest lion in the woods, but I really
needed it to come out of the closet to my parents. To be honest, the wizard only
gave us LSD and Meth. Hell the Scarecrow is hooked so bad he stuffed himself
with weed and smokes it every day.

Q: Interesting. Now what about this crazy sex tape with you and Dorothy? I thought
you were into men only.

A: Hey a mouth is a mouth.

Q: Moving right along… you have an upcoming movie with the Tin Man in
Transformers 6. How has it been on the set in your first movie?

A: Michael Bay is a god among men. Let me tell you,
he loves explosions…on set and in the bed GRRRRRRR. If you know what I mean.

Q: I’m trying to not think about it. What about this bidding war with the red slippers.
It’s like Michael and Paul of our generation. Please speak on it.

CAKE LADY

This pic was fun to draw. I wanted to give it a WW2 feel but keeping it 2000's sexy. Enjoy!

Argel Issue 1 Cover

THIS IS THE COVER FOR ISSUE ONE OF MY COMIC BOOK "ARGEL" WHICH WILL BE RELEASED AT THE WIZARD CON in ATLANTA  DEC. 3-5. MAKE SURE YOU'RE THERE TO PICK UP THE 1ST ISSUE WHERE YOU WILL GET A MIX OF "LORD OF THE RINGS" AND "SIN CITY". I WILL BE SIGNING THE BOOK AND GIVING FREE  SKETCHES TO THE FIRST 25 PEOPLE THAT PICK IT UP!

Lunch Time

This was never suppose to be a finished piece. I was sketching at a book store with Corey "Rocbottom" Davis and Sanford Greene. Sanford was giving me some pointers about my hand movements during my sketching and this was thumbnail sketch that came from that meeting. Sanford tips helped me become more fluid with sketching and the finished product.

A Colorless Dream

This is a painting done in watercolor. I loved the way it came out. Enjoy!

Jungle Girl

Had fun drawing this one but not so much coloring it. I didn't realize how much detail I put in it. Lol. Also you may notice that her face is VERY HARD. I wanted that way. Not every woman will have the angel face. Enjoy!
